My journey started with volunteering at Mind in Haringey, a fantastic mental health charity that delivers crucial services to the community, including MHFA courses. They guided me through the MHFA instructor training program and kindly invited me to co-deliver courses to their community. This incredible opportunity not only boosted my confidence but also empowered me to become an independent instructor, enabling me to share this crucial training with a broader audience.
Mental Health First Aid England plays a pivotal role in promoting mental well-being and supporting communities across the country. As a leading organisation, they provide essential MHFA training programmes that empower individuals to identify, understand, and respond to mental health challenges. By equipping community members with the knowledge and skills needed to offer initial support, MHFA England contributes significantly to breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health and fostering a compassionate and informed society. They have been empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to support mental health in their communities since 2007.
About Me
Hi, I’m Camilla but you can call me Millie (she/her), an accredited Instructor Member approved by Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England to deliver MHFA courses. With a profound commitment to destigmatising mental health and fostering a culture of open dialogue I created Two People, a mental health training hub offering two empowering courses that could be the first step towards a more compassionate and understanding society.
